Come stay at the Linden Tree Inn the weekend of December 9th and 10th and experience all that Christmas in Rockport has to offer. Spend the day checking out the galleries and specials on Bearskin Neck, then as the sun goes down, tour the inns at twilight.  Stroll through 6 inns all exquisitely decorated and lit up for Christmas and gather a collection of home baked cookies by the innkeepers. 

As part of your weekend package, each person will receive a ticket for the inn tour that includes a 20% off voucher for dinner at the Pigeon Cove Tavern, as well as many other coupons good for the shops in town, and a small welcome basket of Rockport treats. 

Packages start at $235 for a single night, double occupancy in a queen room, or for weekend stay rates start at $345 for a two nights, double occupancy in a queen room. Rates includes the taxes, but not gratuities.

Come to Rockport for the Twilight Inn and Cookie Tour and stay for the weekend.......arrive Friday night and wake up in Rockport ready to enjoy all that Christmas in Rockport has to offer. During the day, take advantage of activities to get you in the Christmas spirit and give you a start to your holiday shopping. Drop into the Spiran Hall for a Scandinavian Jul Fest from 9am to 1pm. Check out the Winter Farmers Market at the Firehouse Trust from 9am to 1pm. Then on to the Candy Making Demonstrations at Tuck's Candy and see how ribbon candy and candy canes are made.....our Christmas isn't complete without a Tuck's candy cane tucked into your Christmas stocking!!  Enjoy another popular tradition - an introduction to Rockport’s galleries, studios, artists, and artisans. Many galleries will be featuring live music, wine and light refreshments, artist demonstrations and special raffles from noon to 4pm. While you stroll around listen to the Solstice Singers from 2-4pm and Quintessential Brass from 1-3 pm as they perform in the downtown area. As the sun starts to fade, The Twilight Inns and Cookie Tour begins at 3pm. As you visit the inns from  3-6 PM you will enjoy refreshments and collect an assortment of holiday cookies baked by the innkeepers. End your tour at the Emerson Inn by the Sea and take advantage of the 20% off dining voucher at the Pigeon Cove Tavern. You can enjoy a festive cocktail if you like while exploring The Emerson before or after dining that evening. Make the experience last a little longer and stay at one of the inns offering a lodging and tour special. Many of the specials will include your tour ticket, so be sure to stop by each inn's website or Facebook page to see what each inn has to offer, there is a list to the right of the blog with those inns that are offering specials.  Tickets are $25 per person and are limited. They can be purchased in person at the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, at Ace Hardware in Rockport and Gloucester and at the Emerson Inn by the Sea.  Proceeds will benefit Rockport New Years Eve and the Inns of Rockport Scholarship fund.
